My Qualifications:
I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Campbell University. I earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Campbell University. I earned an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Alamance Community College.
Elizabeth Kennedy, LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing assessment and treatment to children and adolescents, birth through age 18, with developmental and mental health disorders. I offer clinical assessment and screenings for children, individuals and group counseling services for children, family counseling and parenting education and training. In addition to working with children, I assess and counsel adults dealing with adjustment difficulties, coparenting, mood and anxiety issues. I am familiar and comfortable working with individuals of varying race, religion, ability level, and sexual orientation.
My primary speciality and passion is working with children and adolescents.
Insight Human Services
Insight Human Services has offered evidence-based prevention programs since the 1980's. Prevention services collaborates with a number of agencies ranging from law enforcement to community coalitions with the goal of distribution vital messages on topics that include underage drinking, responsible alcohol consumption, tobacco use, and medication safety awareness and education.
Insight's skilled staff presents to schools, faculty, parents, students, faith-based groups and community groups.
Program examples include: Trends in substance use, awareness of signs and symptoms of substance abuse, educational sessions regarding effects of substance abuse on families, individuals and communities.
