The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. American Legion Post #93 in Siler City is a 501(C)3 serving Siler City and Chatham County with programs and projects that benefit veterans, Americanism, national defense, youth and children.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina is a unique organization consisting of 4 Club facilities, our O.T. Sloan site, our Wren Family Center located in Siler City (Western Chatham County) the Robin Page Club in Harnett County, and our Pittsboro Club site in Eastern Chatham County. Our goal is to provide every child with the essential tools needed for a successful and bright future. Since 1995, the vision of Boys & Girls Clubs has grown and changed with the needs of our children. As the needs of our children and their families continue to change, so will the dynamics of our programs and services.

Joe Wagner VFW Post 7313
VFW Post 7313 serves all veterans, military families, and their local communities in Pittsboro, Siler City, all of Chatham County, and the surrounding areas.
The Post was founded on 16 May 1946 by 39 Chatham County veterans and was incorporated on 11 June 1992. VFW National granted a Perpetual Charter to the Joe Wagner Post on 29 December 2004.
Regular meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month (except December) at 7:00 p.m. at the Joe Wagner VFW Post 7313 219 West Street, Pittsboro, North Carolina.
