Workforce Development Program Consultant:

 This position is responsible for the Business Outreach for Support and Services (BOSS) Initiatives for Capital Area Workforce Development (CAWD).  To be successful in this position, this individual will have prior experience and knowledge of the business community including small business programs and resources in the CAWD service area (Wake, Johnston, Lee and Chatham counties). Individual will be responsible for the development, implementation, and outreach to target audience. Serving as the primary point of contact for this initiative, this individual will represent CAWD at meetings with businesses and community partners, perform outreach activities, and report the program's effectiveness on a regular schedule. Responsive to individual and business needs, this person will support small and micro businesses by helping them connect to relevant resources.
