Ambassador of the Year

MALINDA MARSH, Chamber Ambassador of the Year 2021

Malinda Marsh has been an ambassador for 14 months. From her first day as an ambassador, she hit the ground running, always volunteering for one thing or the other.  She is natured to serve and thoroughly enjoys helping out in any capacity. Malinda often works or collaborates on her own time to be of service to others.

Ms. Marsh has been a goodwill arm of the Chamber and a great addition to the ambassador team. She seeks out opportunities to tell people about the Chamber, helps promote events and services and is thoughtful, motivated, professional and relatable.

Marsh is employed as the NCWorks Center Coordinator. NCWorks connects residents with potential employers and businesses in the state with the candidates they’re looking for, so all of North Carolina can prosper. They offer support with everything from pulling together a resume and finding the right training opportunities to prepping jobseekers for interviews.

Malinda has extensive experience providing business services to promote workforce development. She has served diverse populations for several years providing business, employment and training services in Orange, Chatham and surrounding counties.

Ms. Marsh enjoys networking, event planning, career counseling, life coaching, sports, reading, music and shopping.  What she enjoys most though is helping others to reach their goals.

Malinda is a great asset to the Chatham County community, workforce and the Chatham Chamber.

CINDY DAMERON, Chamber Ambassador of the Year 2018

Cindy Dameron has served as an ambassador with great dedication since 2011.  In fact, she is our longest running ambassador to date.  She puts her special touch on all personal and business transactions.

Cindy relocated to Siler City in the late 60’s.  She established deep roots within the community through the strong positive relationships she built and the many community projects she’s been involved in.  She has not only made a difference in people’s lives through her role as a Chamber Ambassador but also as a realtor for the past 20 years, as a wife and as a mom.

Cindy Dameron is dedicated to the cause and drives forward with goals in mind.  She has been an extreme asset and promoter of the Chatham Chamber of Commerce. One of her many strong suits is her ability to make connections.

Cindy and her husband Ron live on a farm where they raise a variety of livestock.  Ron and Cindy have two daughters, Jennifer and Alexis. Cindy is a member of First United Methodist Church in Siler City. In addition to serving as a Chamber Ambassador, she volunteers her time without reservation to the Cattlemen's Association, the Cooperative Extension Advisory Board, the Red Cross and to many other organizations and causes. Cindy has a passion for land and farm sales and is highly experienced in both residential and commercial real estate transactions.  She currently works for Realty World Carolina Properties.
